Bringing a Patented Product to Market Online

The challenge

SensiBlue has been working on their water disinfection technology for over two decades. The product is a patented, self-powered salt electrolysis system that disinfects up to 900 liters of water per hour without electricity. After 20 years of development and refinement, the S4 model is installed in 1,200 locations worldwide and covered by a new patent granted in 2024.

The mission was ready. The product was ready. The webshop was not. SensiBlue was running on an Odoo webshop that wasn't built for growth, wasn't built to sell, and didn't reflect the ambition behind the brand. Before they could scale, they needed a proper e-commerce foundation.

The solution

We designed and built a new Shopify webshop for SensiBlue from the ground up, in collaboration with DropofLemon agency who handled the content. The store was built as an MVP-plus: everything needed to launch well and sell with confidence, without overbuilding before the market has spoken. The design reflects SensiBlue's identity, clean and purposeful, built around a product that exists to solve a real problem.

THE IMPACT WE MADE

The webshop is live. SensiBlue now has an e-commerce platform that matches the quality of the product it's selling. The next phase moves into go-to-market: advertising, scaling, and getting the S4 in front of the audiences who need it most.
