FitForMe Proof of Concept

The challenge

FitForMe had a serious question to answer: should they migrate their entire e-commerce operation to Shopify? It was a decision that would affect their tech stack, their integrations, their team, and their customers across 22 countries. The stakes were high enough that their CEO, CTO, and CFO all needed to be in the room when the answer came back.

They didn't need a presentation deck. They needed evidence. And they needed it fast. Two competing agencies were asked to build fully functioning Shopify proof-of-concept stores before Christmas.

The solution

We built it. In two weeks, we put together a complete, on-brand Shopify store that reflected the real complexity of FitForMe's business: two markets, two languages, two currencies, five products across two separate catalogues. We connected or scoped every major integration their current stack relied on, HubSpot, Active Ants, Shopify Email, Shopify Inbox, e-commerce tracking, and checkout forms, while mapping out the path to payment partners, subscription tools, and their ERP.

The approach was deliberately iterative. We didn't disappear for two weeks and come back with a finished product. We collaborated closely with the FitForMe team throughout, defined success criteria upfront, and demonstrated progress along the way. The result was a demo-ready store their leadership could actually experience.

THE IMPACT WE MADE

FitForMe decided not to migrate to Shopify, and they made that decision with full confidence, not hesitation. The proof of concept gave them exactly what they needed: a clear-eyed look at what migration would actually cost in time, complexity, and resources, weighed against what they would gain. The answer, for where they are right now, was don't.

That's a good outcome. It protected FitForMe from an expensive mistake, and it demonstrated the kind of honest, structured thinking that led to multiple new proposals being generated out of the session with their senior leadership team.
